My name is Richard Decker. I'm a partner here at Lohman Law Offices. I've been here for 20 years now. I always wanted to be an attorney. Always felt like I could help people by being an attorney, so I did that. I started back into school, went to law school here at the University of Louisville back in the '90s, and my second year of law school, I had the good fortune of meeting the Lohmans. And I clerked for them my second year of law school, and I've been here ever since. When I'm not practicing law, that's a strange question. I used to love to play golf. I'm getting a little older now. I never was good at it, but I always enjoyed doing it. I like going to the beach. I like the warm weather. I used to like the cold weather too, but my wife doesn't, so we usually go someplace warm. We enjoy going to the lake, skiing, stuff like that. I enjoy being around my grandkids. My children are now in their 30s, and now I've got a bunch of little . . . the grandchildren are easier to deal with, because I don't have to take them home with me and I have a lot of fun with them. So I spend a lot of time doing that. And my wife and I have a child with needs, that she's now 30, and she's a full-time job for my wife. And I like to help my wife assist her in the weekends and stuff like that. I spend a lot of time doing that too. So that's basically what I do. I don't do a whole lot of anything. I like to be outdoors a little bit and get a little sun on my face and that's about it.
